NO! There are a number of crocodile hunters, only one person has tried to
take that role and he is no longer with us. I have never thought that I
was THE crocodile hunter, which is what Steve called himself. I am however
the most experienced in my field in the world of value adding the
crocodile. The only crocodile hunter that catches and produces crocodile
products using old bush methods.
I
don't hate him, I don't know him and I have never wished to meet him
either. He was great with what he did a Zoo Theme Park owner which has
helped Australia's profile, but he is not a crocodile hunter. He was more
a trapper as crocodile hunters catch and sometimes kill crocodiles.
Leather has been man's best friend for thousands of years and with out it
we would not be where we are to day. I will only take problem crocodiles
that might have killed a person or livestock, I don't go out and just kill
crocodiles. Crocodiles are also farmed for the commercial industry which I
also use.
